Muscat Group of Companies (MGC) was established by Mr. Majid Said Saad Ghawas & Mr. Periasamy Durairaj (founders) in the year 2016, with a vision to emerge as a large and leading international Group of companies in the Middle East. We aim at becoming a glorious excellent Group of Companies, which has solid corporate principles and much potential for sustainable growth. We believe in hard work and creating shared value for the communities in which we operate. This concept spurs us on to evaluate the way our business uses, transforms, renews and creates resources and we wanted to leave a legacy for future generations of professionals.

From our modest beginnings in Sultanate of Oman, MGC is now expanding its presence in many geographical locations. Further, with-in a shorter period of time, we will have our presence in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. MGC intends to provide its services that go beyond borders. Our expansion ensures, we offer local insight, coupled with products and services of a consistently high international standards.

Quality Assurance

MGC employs strict quality control process with the help of state of the art in-house laboratory to assure our customers receive the best quality at all times. Our products will be delivered,only if specifications are according to ASTM standards and maintains ISO 9001 standards, MGC follows WCM (World Class Manufacturing) process to improve all steps of the production process, ensuring a stable production at the highest standards.

Environmental Responsibility

MGC invested recycling technologies to help preserve the environment,while installing an ammonium scrubbing line to remove 100% of the Sulphur from flue gases. MGC is currently and also the only local manufacture to have the Plasterboard recycling facility which allows MGC to take back waste material from project and/or plant reject and convert them back into finished goods. We care for the environment. We are committed to the efficient use of resources,preventing pollution,and reducing the environmental impact of our operations and products.

Our Companies

Muscat Transportation Company LLC

Since our mining operation, capacity is highest capacity among other competitors in Oman, we bound to have our own transportation facility instead of depending on external transportation services. This will support to our customers to deliver their shipments according to committed schedule without any delays or demerges. To maintain such deliver schedule, we bound to invest huge investment to have 100 numbers of our own vehicle from Mercedes and valvo make with our own central workshop, which is going to maintained by Mercedes technical staff for 1st 5 years period.

Muscat General Ready mix LLC

By expecting local demand in salalah as well as in Duqum area, again we are coming with very high capacity plants in slalah and duqum locations. Each location capacity is 120 cbm/hour which highest capacity among existing producers.

Muscat International Recycling LLC

Since we found huge waste of rubber in and around salalah, we are coming up with recycling project from waste rubber which is laying in millions tons.

Muscat Gypsum Product LLC

We are coming with gypsum base products by seeing huge market demand from India, Nepal, Srilanka, Africa. Again here also we are coming up with 60 million sqmt capacity plant in two phases in span of 3 years. Our phase -1 capacity is 30 million sqmt / year and phase -2 capacity will be 30 million sqmt / year. We call it as gypsum complex, where we can find all gypsum base products with accessories. We are coming up with marketing strategy , which can take our product any part of India, and few of African countries. We are going to have 4 sales offices in India at different regions which could cover all zones, and also we will have sales offices in Nigeria, Kenya , Tanzenia etc.

We have our own properties in salalah, on which we are developing shopping complex, malls, showrooms, Business centres, Residential complex & corporate offices.

Muscat Travels & Rent a Car

Since Salalah is reputed location for tourism and particularly we can find huge crowd in kareef season. Other than tourism, salalah is getting develop in industrially, where international experts floating also become more, so by seeing all these factors we come up with this business which can support us also for our internal divisions external experts visit.

Quality Policy

We continuously seek to develop the skills and expertise of our people and instil in them the importance of quality service. We are committed to the preservation of natural resources and the compliance with all government regulations and statutory requirements. We are committed to deliver a safe and secure environment to all our employees, customers and customers goods at all times.

Laboratory

MGPL operates a full length Gypsum lab facilities. We test end-to-end lab process and analysis that duplicate full-scale manufacturing principles to provide fast information to operators at the production plant to produce good quality products.

We analyse Gypsum samples including Rock and other byproduct Gypsum. Using ASTM and EN test methods, we can test lab scale fire resistance, flexural strength, board core structure, impact resistance, humidified deflection and more for various R& D compositions or formulations. We benchmark lab samples, plant trial samples or commercial boards.
